The Circular Saw that Protects Your Fingers

With the new Altendorf Hand Guard circular saw, the risk of workplace injuries is eliminated. Altendorf has gained wide recognition for its unique Hand Guard system, providing unmatched safety for machine operators.

Using data from two small cameras on the machine, the system identifies the operator's hand movements. If a hazardous situation is detected, the threat is immediately neutralized, and the saw blade retracts under the table within a quarter of a second. Altendorf has successfully developed a system that stops the danger before any contact occurs, preventing accidents and protecting the operator.

After the machine performs an "emergency stop," it can be restarted after 10 seconds, allowing you to continue working with your Altendorf machine. This process avoids damage to both the machine and the saw blade, ensuring that productivity is maintained.
